Lo statunitense Dave Simons, del quale avevamo a suo tempo segnalato la malattia su afNews, è morto di cancro a 54 anni il 10 giugno 2009. Era noto per aver lavorato, oltre al resto, a Conan, Ghost Rider, Red Sonja e Spider-Man per la Marvel Comics e a Forgotten Realms per la DC Comics.
